Alpine Food Distributing, Inc., an Oregon-based, family-owned food distribution company, has purchased two distribution facilities, located at 9696 S.E. Omark Drive in Milwaukie, Oregon, for $12,250,000. The seller was Oregon Transfer Co. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate brokers, Steven Klein and Peter Stalick, represented Alpine in the transaction.
Alpine previously leased the distribution facilities, which total 220,000 square feet and are adjacent to a 280,000 square foot facility already owned by the company.
“We are thrilled to announce our current acquisition and expansion of facilities at our Milwaukie, Oregon location. The added 220,000 square foot facility expands our foot print in the Milwaukie area to 500,000 square feet and opens greater service channels for our clients and vendors. From 1983 to 2020 Alpine has had the opportunity to expand its facilities from 13,000 square feet to occupying more than 500,000 square feet in the Oregon market. The increased demand for supply chain services and Alpine’s dedication in being a leader in the food service industry, continues to bring opportunities for growth. Alpine believes in the value of our partnerships with our team members, customers and supplier partners as they are truly the reason for our success over the years,” said Greg Carlston and Shawn Hood of Alpine Food Distributing.
