Stan Sidor, a senior vice president and manager for Kidder Mathews Valuation Advisory Services and a shareholder in the firm, has been appointed to the Washington State Real Estate Appraiser Commission. His six-year term will continue through 2025.
The Real Estate Appraiser Commission of the State of Washington consists of seven members who act to give advice to the Director of Licensing. The duties of the Commission include: serve as a liaison between appraisal practitioners, the public, and the department of licensing; and study and recommend changes to RCW 18.140 (the Real Estate Appraiser Act) to the Director of Licensing or to the legislature.
Sidor has 27 years of experience as a professional commercial real estate appraiser. He has earned the prestigious CRE designation by The Counselors of Real Estate, as wells as the MAI designation and the AI-GRS designation from the Appraisal Institute. He is also the 2020 president of the Appraisal Institute, Seattle chapter, and he has served two terms as the president of the Appraiser’s Coalition of Washington (ACOW). Sidor is qualified as an expert witness for real estate valuation in the state of Washington.
