Kidder Mathews Hired to Manage 103,330 SF Civic Center in Lake Forest, CA

Kidder Mathews has been selected by the City of Lake Forest (population 77,200) to manage its new 103,330 square foot Civic Center complex. The complex is located at 100 Civic Center Drive in Lake Forest, California in Orange County.

The Civic Center will serve as Lake Forest’s “100-Year Home” and will be the civic heart and social center of the city. Inspired by the vision and feedback from the community, and incorporating the surrounding natural beauty of Lake Forest, the Civic Center will offer a new place for people to conduct business and enjoy community activities on 8.13 acres. In addition to housing police services and municipal administrative offices, the Civic Center will include a community center where the public can enjoy classes, a senior center, and a performing arts theater.

The Civic Center complex is all new construction, and LEED Silver certified. It is Lake Forest’s first permanent city hall and is being built without taking on debt.

With an established reputation for successfully supporting public agencies with real estate and facilities management, Kidder Mathews adds this assignment to a clientele that includes the University of Washington, the Port of Olympia, the Port of Seattle, the City of Tacoma, and the Oregon Institute of Technology. The assignment will be managed by Kidder Mathews regional office in Irvine, California. Senior property manager, Diane Clark, will lead the property management team.
