Sodo and Georgetown have morphed for years and the pace of change is accelerating.
The area remains very much industrial, where companies make and distribute things, but the business community is shifting as lighter uses push farther south into the neighborhood. A prime example is residential real estate company Metropolist, which operates in an old crane factory.
