Sunflower Plaza in Santa Ana, California sells for $9,540,000

Irvine, Calif. (January 2, 2019) – Sunflower Plaza, located at 3929-3941 S. Bristol Street in Santa Ana, California, has sold for $9,540,000 to Sunflower Metro LLC, a company owned by former NBA player, Josh Childress. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate broker, Fouy Ly, represented the seller, Sunflower Plaza Company LP, in the transaction.

The 27,000 square foot shopping center is subject to a 30-year ground lease. It is situated on 2.66 acres across the street from South Coast Plaza, one of the highest revenue malls in the United States. Sunflower Plaza is anchored by Bank of the West, Vitamin Shoppe, Panera Bread, Jersey Mike, and Z Pizza.

The seller, Sunflower Plaza Company is the original builder and has owned the property since 1979. This is the first time the property has sold in the last 40 years.
