The nonprofit Construction Industry Training Council of Washington has sold its longtime Bellevue headquarters, at 1930 116th Ave. N.E., and plans to move next year to a new building it will buy in South King County.

King County recorded the $6 million sale on Friday. CITC acquired the property in 2007 for $4.5 million.

Todd Gauthier and Jason Bloom of Kidder Mathews represented CITC. The property had been on the market for about two months. The deal was worth about $286 per square foot.

Developed on just over 1.5 acres in 1989, the two-story building has 21,000 square feet of offices and educational space. It’s a little southeast of the junction between Interstate 405 and state Route 520.

Gauthier and Bloom have also found CITC a new home.
