Los Angeles, Calif. (August 23, 2018) – Kids Empire, a children’s indoor playground, has signed a
10-year lease for a 10,000 square foot space at Bakersfield Plaza, located at 4200 California Avenue
in Bakersfield, California. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate brokers, Stephan Ktorza and Shelby Dopps, represented Kids Empire in the transaction. The landlord is Exel Realty Partners LP (Brixmor Property Group, Inc.), owners of one of the nation’s largest portfolios of open-air shopping centers.
“Kids Empire is making deals with the biggest landlords in the country who are seeing the benefit of having entertainment-based tenants to attract more visitors to their shopping centers,” said Ktorza, a senior vice president with Kidder Mathews.
Kids Empire continues to grow in California. This is their fourth location to begin construction in 2018.
