(March 7, 2018) – Kidder Mathews commercial real estate brokers, Josh Schweitz and Travis Parrott, received the prestigious Bill Naito Award at A Night of Excellence in Commercial Real Estate, an annual event presented by Commercial Association of Brokers (CAB), NAIOP and SIOR to honor Portland’s top commercial real estate brokers.
The Bill Naito Award is presented to the CAB member/s who successfully closed the most complex real estate transaction of the year. Schweitz and Parrott received the award for their involvement in the 138,486 square foot lease transaction at Montgomery Park in Northwest Portland. Schweitz and Parrott represented the landlord, Bill Naito Company, in the transaction. The tenant was adidas.
Schweitz has been in the commercial real estate industry for 18 years. During his career, he won the Commercial Association of Brokers’ “Rookie of the Year” award and has been ranked among CoStar’s
Top 20 “Power Brokers.” He has successfully negotiated over 4.5 million square feet of office/flex property transactions worth approximately $400 million in consideration.
Parrott specializes in office leasing and sales, and through his partnership with Schweitz, he provides market analysis, brokerage, and consulting services for tenants and landlords. He has been in the commercial real estate industry for six years.
