Private Investor Acquires 50-Unit Apartment Bldg.
A local owner taking title as V.H.R. Co. LLC purchased The Arthur, a 50-unit multifamily building at 726 S.W. 11th Ave. in downtown Portland, OR, from another individual investor for $7.6 million, or approximately $152,000 per unit.
Located between Morrison St. and Yamhill St., the 18,102-square-foot apartment complex is immediately accessible to the Portland Streetcar and consists of a mix of studio floorplans ranging in size from 165 to 250 square feet, according to CoStar data. The five-story building was originally constructed in 1912, but was renovated in 2008.
Jordan Carter, Clay Newton and Tyler Linn of Kidder Mathews brokered the sale on behalf of the buyer and the seller.
