Ontario, Calif. (January 22, 2018) – Westcore Properties, an institutional real estate investor, has leased a 366,698 square foot warehouse/distribution building, located at 22705 Newhope Street in Moreno Valley, California, to the athletic shoe manufacturer, Skechers® USA. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate broker, Dave Burback, along with Gerry Harvey of CBRE, represented Westcore in the transaction.
“The apparel/shoe sector is growing. Skechers had 1.8 million square feet in Moreno Valley, the largest single-company occupancy under one roof in Southern California, and they needed more space,” said Burback. “The deal was struck quickly and demonstrates the current strength, velocity and viability of Inland Empire East for industrial real estate,” he said.
Burback and Harvey represented Westcore in the purchase of the property in August 2017 and were retained to manage leasing and marketing for the property.
