Powell Homes & Renovations – which has operated a showroom and Corporate Headquarters at 22211 Marine View Drive South (map below) for 10 years – has announced plans to place the property for sale this month.
According to Brooks Powell, co-owner and General Manager of the family business, the company will seek a new location that better fits its space needs. The move will not affect the location of its sister company – Powell Property Management – with Corporate Headquarters located at 22528 Marine View Drive South.
The Powell Homes & Renovations showroom offers 3,400 square feet of office space, and 3,400 square feet of alley-accessed warehouse. It has been previously occupied by a five-and-dime, carpet warehouse, and a skateboard shop before Powell bought and rehabbed the building in 2006. Powell Homes & Renovations is a fourth generation builder, originally established in 1909. It is the longest standing home builder and renovator in the Seattle area, building and renovating thousands of quality homes.
