San Francisco, Calif. (October 3, 2017) – Commercial real estate developer, Charles Oewell, has retained Kidder Mathews, a commercial real estate brokerage firm, to exclusively market two multifamily development projects at 10167 San Pablo Avenue and 921 Kearney Street in El Cerrito, California. The offering is represented by Clayton Jew, a senior vice president with the firm.

The development projects are located in downtown El Cerrito’s theater and transit districts. Both sites
are zoned Transit Oriented Mixed Use and are within walking distance to one of two BART stations in El Cerrito, as well as retail amenities.

The plan proposes the development of Avenue Lofts, a six-story, 62-unit complex, and Kearney Street Lofts, a five-story 72-unit complex. The properties can be acquired together or separately. The developer expects to obtain full entitlements by December 2017.

“Over the past five years, fueled by the real estate boom and regional growth in jobs, the El Cerrito multifamily market has outpaced expectations,” said Jew. “The downtown is experiencing a revitalization and expansion, particularly along the north/south thoroughfare of San Pablo Avenue. The proximity to BART and other transportation makes this a superb opportunity to participate in a long-term multifamily investment,” he said.
