Phoenix, Ariz. (September 7, 2017) – Sky Zone, a family trampoline and event center, has completed a 27,000 square foot lease on an anchor space at Hancock Plaza, located at 4801 – 4859 East Greenway Road in Scottsdale, Arizona. It is owned and operated by Litwin Management, a full-service property management company. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate broker, Jenette Bennett, represented Litwin Management in the transaction, along with Josh Stewart of Rein & Grossoehme Commercial Real Estate.
The space is a creative, adaptive re-use of a former grocery store. It will involve transitioning the building from grocery to retail and demising the space. An additional 15,215 square foot suite remains available.
“With big box vacancy on the forefront of retail concerns, there continue to be property owners, tenants, and brokers working through the process to find innovative ways to fill these spaces,” said Bennett.
Hancock Plaza is on the border of Scottsdale and Phoenix. The location has high traffic counts and has been a staple for the community since construction.
“Grocery and big box closures exist, but Phoenix has a dense population with market demands on which tenants can capitalize. We have received consistent interest from all types of tenants, and expect to lease the remaining space shortly,” said Bennett.
