Reno, Nev. (September 14, 2016) – Panda Printing & Mailing, a division of Universal Printing & Graphics, Inc., has purchased an industrial building located at 4835 Longley Lane in Reno from PDF LLC, a Reno area commercial real estate developer, for $2,050,000. Kidder Mathews commercial real estate broker, Brad Lancaster, represented the buyer in the transaction.
The Reno area has been described as one of the hottest industrial regions in the Western United States. Even so, the 19,498 square foot industrial warehouse had been on the market for over a year due to highly specific, purpose-built construction, making it conducive to only a handful of users.
“The building has all of the key features and specifications required to support Panda/UPG’s offset, digital printing operations, and allow expansion of bindery and mailing services,” said Todd Kelly, VP of Operations, Panda Printing & Mailing.
Lancaster, along with Roger Kadz of Nevada State Development Corp, and Cindy Santilena of Bank of America, put together a complex SBA financing package for the funding of the real estate purchase and construction required to support the commercial printer’s manufacturing processes, printing equipment, and a company-wide restructuring.
“This expansion and relocation to a higher quality location will catapult the company into their next phase of continued growth,” said Lancaster.
