Sacramento, Calif. (January 25, 2016) – Kidder Mathews continues to grow its Sacramento commercial real estate group, and recently added three veteran brokers. Bruce Wirt, Dennis Shorrock, and Tom Bacon will be senior vice presidents in the firm, and will specialize in office properties.
Bruce Wirt has over 37 years commercial real estate experience. He comes to Kidder Mathews from TRI Commercial, and prior to that, he was a top producer at Cornish & Carey Commercial Newmark Knight Frank. He is an active SIOR member, having served as past president of the Northern California chapter. He has been involved in more than 1,000 sales and lease transactions during his career.
Dennis Shorrock is also an active SIOR member, as well as a member of the Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE), and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, Shorrock was with TRI Commercial, and before that, he was managing director of Cornish & Carey Newmark Knight Frank’s Roseville office. Shorrock has been in the commercial real estate industry for over 35 years. During his career, he has completed over 3.2 million square feet of sale and lease transactions.
Tom Bacon, CCIM, has over 30 years experience in commercial real estate. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, he ran Bacon Commercial Real Estate. Tom spent several years in Southern California with the Charles Dunn Company and with Cushman & Wakefield. In 1991, he moved to Sacramento and was a consistent performer with Cornish & Carey Commercial and with Colliers International. Tom specializes in office properties. He is also an active member of Rotary International.
