Kidder Mathews continues to grow its San Diego office with the addition of four more brokers. Mickey Morera, James Duncan, and Jeff Brown who are specialists in sales and leasing of industrial and R&D properties. Prior to joining Kidder Mathews, all three were with Cushman & Wakefield. Jim Benson also joins the firm as an industrial specialist who was formerly with Cassidy Turley/DTZ.
As part of the firm’s expansion plans for Southern California, Kidder Mathews announced a few weeks ago that it opened a San Diego office in Del Mar Heights. The firm immediately hired veteran brokers Ron King, Joe McDermott, and Robert Willingham, formerly with Cushman & Wakefield, along with managing partner, Mark Read, who joined after a long career with CBRE and Voit Real Estate. In addition, Kidder Mathews manages 800,000 square feet of biotech space in La Jolla.
“The pace of our growth in just a few weeks has be phenomenal,” said Mark Read. “The attraction is attributable to a few things; the platform Kidder Mathews offers that no one else has, plus fantastic tools and resources, favorable commissions to the brokers (up to 90%), opportunity for ownership to all producers, and a lack of cumbersome corporate processes that many of our competitors employ.”
