Kidder Mathews to Sell 215-acre Development Site on I-5 Freeway, near Olympia, Washington

Kidder Mathews, the largest commercial real estate firm in Washington, announced that it is marketing for sale the 215-acre mixed-use development site known as Lacey Gateway Town Center, in Lacey, Washington, for its client Lacey Gateway, LLC, a subsidiary of HomeStreet Bank.

The potential town center has full development support and cooperation of the local municipality, the City of Lacey. Preliminary entitlements and improvements are already in place. Funding grants provided the basic infrastructure to the area adjoining the site, and $14 million of additional funding is available when development benchmarks are met. The site surrounds Cabela’s, the world’s largest direct marketer of hunting, fishing, camping, and related outdoor merchandise, and has the distinction of being the largest contiguous property adjacent to I-5 available for purchase in Washington state. Kidder Mathews expects the property to appeal to a wide variety of investors and developers of retail, multi-family, office, institutional, and medical offices, including potential for a mixed-use lifestyle center.
