Seattle, WA – Kidder Mathews announced today that it has promoted Brian Hatcher to executive vice president of its commercial real estate brokerage group for the Washington and Oregon region. In his new role, he will lead the firm’s 6 brokerage offices from Seattle to Portland, with a focus on strategic business development, as well as, recruitment of top brokerage talent for the firm. Hatcher comes from within the ranks of the firm’s Bellevue office, and he has been with Kidder Mathews for the last 15 years of his 27-year brokerage career. Having completed over 1,500 transactions, Hatcher is well known in the local real estate industry and has represented firms with complex real estate needs such as HAL Real Estate Investments, ChemPoint, PACCAR, and Univar.
“Brian is a great fit for us due to the respect he has gained both internally and with our clients, as well as, the success he has attained in his own brokerage career. His experience and proven track record will allow him to help our brokers provide great service to our clients, and he has an intimate understanding of how to foster our culture and environment, which is very valuable to our professionals. It has always been a priority to me to fill this position from within the Kidder Mathews organization, so we could not be more pleased that a broker of Brian’s caliber has accepted this position,” said Jeff Lyon, chairman and CEO of Kidder Mathews.
Hatcher’s leadership experience includes several years of serving on the Kidder Mathews’ board of directors, serving as both president and vice president of the prestigious Society of Industrial and Office Realtors, and he has spent many years as a volunteer coaching high school sports teams.
“I wouldn’t have considered taking on this role for any other firm in the region, but because Kidder Mathews has the best platform for its brokers to succeed, it will be a very rewarding job for me. The firm has grown by 60 percent in the last few years, and we are a different, more sophisticated company today. While other commercial real estate companies are trying to gain momentum, we are the momentum. We are doing what other firms are all striving to do,” said Hatcher.
