The Geneva Foundation Leases 10,000 Square Feet in the Provident Building, Tacoma

Tacoma, WA – The Geneva Foundation, a private, non-profit organization with its sole purpose to support and promote the advancement of military medicine, is relocating their corporate office from Lakewood to downtown Tacoma, completing a 7-year lease transaction for 10,000 square feet at the Provident Building, 917 Pacific Avenue, Tacoma, Washington.

“This is a win for downtown Tacoma. Geneva is a great company and will bring 32 new jobs to downtown,” says Dominic Accetturo, a commercial real estate agent with Kidder Mathews, who represented the landlord, LinMar Management. “There are not many 10,000 square foot tenants in the market and not many coming to downtown Tacoma. With Russell leaving Tacoma, this is a good sign downtown continues to move forward.”

“Decreased rental rates are helping to make downtown Tacoma office space an attractive option. The lower rates are bridging the gap between the suburbs with free parking, and downtown office space with parking expense,” said Accetturo.

Kidder Mathews is one of the largest independently owned commercial real estate firms on the West Coast, with more than 200 brokers in 9 offices in Washington, Oregon, and California, performing $1.95 billion in transactions annually. For more information, go to www.kiddermathews.com.
